Cal Golden Bears Softball Game Social Mixer with UCB SWE Section
Join Golden Gate Professional and UC Berkeley sections of SWE for fun afternoon watching the Cal Golden Bears softball team play Loyola Marymount. Attendance is free at Levine-Fricke Field in Strawberry Canyon. They currently have a record of 21-7!

Why Engineers Might Consider an MBA or Masters in Management
Join Melisa Prevost and Donna Bauman, both Senior Admissions Counselors with Stratus Admissions, and SWE @ UC Berkeley, SFSU, GGS, to learn about why engineers might consider business school or a masters in management.
They will talk about how engineers might leverage an MBA or MiM, the different ways to get an MBA/MiM and share some profiles of female engineers we have worked with and how they leveraged their business degrees. They hope to make this interactive and answer questions as well as provide a foundation of what you can be thinking about whether you are still studying or currently working as an engineer.

SWE GGS x UCB SWE Cal Women’s Basketball
Join SWE GGS and UCB SWE to watch the Cal Women’s Basketball Team take on St. Mary’s. The game starts at noon but arrive at 11 and meet in the plaza right outside the pavilion entrance for some professional-student networking. We’ll head in at 11:45 AM. Tickets cost $6. Snacks and drinks are available inside the stadium.

Bay Area Engineers’ Snowcial Holiday Party
Come and celebrate the holidays with three Bay Area organizations! SWE, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), and National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) are excited to bring you a happy and warm holiday party on the evening of 15th December. This event will help members mingle with those of the other organizations to get to know each other better and strengthen partnership. Food and beverages will be provided. Prizes will be raffled, but that won’t be limited to just ugly sweaters.
We will also be collecting gifts to deliver the next day to the ‘Toys for Tots’ initiative in collaboration with Chevron, SHPE, and NSBE, so consider bringing a toy to donate. Stay tuned for more details!
